In accordance with the requirements of title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 (ADA), the City of Clinton Iowa, does not discriminate against the qualified individuals with disabilities on the basis of disability in its services, programs, or activities. Interpreter services are available upon request.

ADA Advisory Commission

The ADA Advisory Commission was re-established in 2012 and consists of seven members. The purpose of the Commission is to examine new and existing local, state and federal laws and applicable regulations to assure that disabled individuals are integrated, absorbed and "mainstreamed" wherever and whenever possible into every facet of city employment, programs and activities and advise and assist the ADA Coordinator accordingly.
