Mayor Scott Maddasion

Scott Maddasion was sworn in as Mayor of Clinton, Iowa, on January 2, 2020. A lifelong resident of Clinton, he attended Prince of Peace Catholic Schools and graduated from Clinton High School in 2003. After high school, Scott joined the U.S. Air Force, serving honorably as a Network Intelligence Analyst at Misawa Air Base in Japan and Ft. Meade in Maryland for four years. Following his military service, Scott returned to Clinton to complete his college education and began his career in finance as a loan officer with Aegis Credit Union, where he continues to make a positive impact.

Deeply passionate about his community, Scott is committed to helping Clinton thrive and grow. He believes in the potential of Clinton and works tirelessly to foster initiatives that will benefit its residents. As a devoted husband and father of two, he is invested in creating a brighter future for his family and for all of Clinton. With a strong love for his community and a vision for progress, Scott is dedicated to making Clinton a great place to live for generations to come.
